We try and keep it as simple as possible but we also try to offer as many options as possible.

During busy periods such as Christmas, orders can be delayed. We will always aim to deliver on your specified date where a date has been selected.

Royal Mail 24 Delivery.
We endeavour to deliver next working day (if the item is in stock) Royal Mail quote more than 95% of first class items arrive the next working day but please allow 3 working days for delivery before contacting us.
This can take 2-5 days for delivery.
We use Parcel Force and DPD for Mainland UK Courier option and Non UK. Orders will be shipped for next working day delivery for Mainland UK. Non UK can take upto 3 working days. Deliveries will require a signature. Our couriers will email you on the day of delivery with tracking information.
Bulk Orders of Five or More Items
Sorry but we can’t always work within these timescales for bulk orders. Please leave the scheduled delivery date as – Please dispatch asap – We can normally ship within 24-48 hours.
Multiple Delivery Addresses
The prices above do not include when shipping to multiple delivery addresses. The prices stated are per address and the price bands are also per address.
We will not sell wine to anyone under the age of 18 years old. You will be asked to verify your age at checkout and by placing an order for alcohol you are confirming that you are aged 18 years old or over. If you are buying alcohol as a gift or as part of a gift, the recipient must be over the age of 18 years old. If couriers are in doubt about the recipients age, they will request a valid form of identification. Failure to produce such identification will result in the couriers not delivering the gift.
If no one is there then a card will be left and a redelivery can be arranged but it must be at the same address.
Fresh Fruit and Cheese Orders
Please note that due to our fruit and cheese being fresh, if an order is placed on a Friday, we will not ship the order until the following Monday for next day delivery. This will be the same over the festive period where there are more than 2 days of holiday or weekend grouped together.
Specified Delivery Dates
When placing your order we offer the chance to specify a delivery date. Please note that we can only guarantee this date if you have ordered a product that is shipped by Courier. For details of these please see above. For all other items that are sent by Royal Mail we will send for you two days before your requested delivery date. For example if you order for a delivery on a Friday, we will ship on the Wednesday.
If you select a weekend or bank holiday delivery date we will aim to deliver on the previous working day.
Where a delivery date is specified we will debit your card and take payment immediately. This reserves the order. Your order will be changed to status In Progress and will remain at this status until the order is shipped. You can make amendments to your order via email prior to the status being changed to shipped.
If you select a delivery date that is too soon, for example you order on a Friday asking for a Saturday delivery, we will ship the order on the next available shipping date by one of the methods detailed above.
Although we will try our hardest to meet all requested delivery dates, we cannot be held liable for deliveries which arrive early or late. In the unlikely event this does happen and you have paid for the courier upgrade, we will consider refunding the courier charge.
Orders which arrive late or are lost in the post
If an item is shipped by courier and has not arrived on the specified date, please email us immediately or contact the courier directly. They should send you an email with all of the details on. Problems can be resolved very easily.
If the order is shipped by Royal Mail then we have to work by their standard terms of practice. Although a very large percentage of post orders will arrive next day, this is not a guaranteed service. If an item has not arrived after 1 week then please email us. We will give you a set of procedures to follow to try and locate the item. If the item can’t be located, the address is correct and it has been 10 days from when the order has been shipped then we can offer to refund you or resend the gift. Please do feel free to email us anytime after the third day for updates or to check shipping date and address.
Any delivery which has not arrived must be advised to us within 30 days of the requested delivery date. After this time, most carriers do not offer historical tracking so we will treat your order as if it has been delivered and no refunds will be issued.
Although we try our hardest to maintain the time scales above there may be exceptional circumstances when these may not apply. This can be times when Royal Mail are very busy, like Christmas or in the event of you not supplying a full correct address, like a wrong postcode. In these events please contact us for more details as deliveries can take longer.
